Wallet Connect opening a link instead of showing wallets

Hi,
I am using https://github.com/ethereum-boilerplate/ethereum-react-native-boilerplate and when I try to login with wallet. WalletConnect opens a link in the browser instead showing the list of wallets. Kindly support me with this issue.

Experienced the same problem, and so did many others.
Another thread found on this topic: https://githubmemory.com/repo/WalletConnect/walletconnect-monorepo/issues/588.

I request devs to please clear the issue asap
