Unable to create item with RARIBLE-CLONE REPO

I want to congratulate about your awesome tutorial on YouTube. I was testing the rarible-clone repo on git https://github.com/MoralisWeb3/youtube-tutorials/tree/main/rarible-clone and I am getting some error messages: get_items_error


I’m getting the Uncaught (in promise) Error: Invalid function: ā€œgetUserItemsā€ once I log in to Metamask, and the "Uncaught (in promise) Error: Invalid function: ā€œgetItemsā€ when reload the page.

I’m getting the second error after clicking on ā€˜Create!’ button when creating the NFT image. An image with its meta description (name, description, image location, nftFileHash) is created using moralis and stored in IPFS. However, I’m not able to see any image in the ā€˜My Items’ gallery.

getUserItems sounds like the name of a cloud function, did you also copy those code for cloud functions?

Hey I really appreciate your reply! I just tried the cloud function and got rid of the getUserItems but now I am getting this error: receipt.events.Transfer_is_undefined

this looks a little more complicated, it looks to be related to a transaction made on chain that didn’t return an event, either you didn’t deploy the smart contract, or didn’t use the proper smart contract address, or it is another problem somewhere.

Well actually I used the repo from https://github.com/MoralisWeb3/youtube-tutorials/tree/main/rarible-clone and watched most of the tutorials, however I’ve noticed certain differences between the tutorial and the video. The only things I changed from the repo were:

Moralis.initialize, Moralis.serverURL, const TOKEN_CONTRACT_ADDRESS, const MARKETPLACE_CONTRACT_ADDRESS

there is a lot of code here, you should debug it, to find out from what line it gets that error, probably it is a smart contract function call there, and then to see if everything it is ok with that transaction

I am also getting createItem is not a function. can you please tell me that how to solve if you solved it.

i used remix to deploy the contract

You might want to double check your Sync and Watch Contract Events for any typos, that’s how a resolved it.
