No, it is not. That page says:
“You can start this tutorial if you already have a NextJS dapp with MetaMask sign-in functionality.” which is what I am trying to do to begin with.
It could be that the link in GitHub is outdated.
The docs which you need to refer to for signing into metamask is here, which I guess you are already using it.
After some guess-work, I was able to proceed.
