Could you tell me if the region selection matters when creating first instance of server? My region isn’t displayed, which one should I pick instead?

I don’t see the current region either for a server that it was already created (this should be fixed).
The region could matter for faster response times of your application, for example it will make sense if your users are all located closer to a specific region to choose that region, but usually this difference would not be easily noticeable.
