I saw this:

Question…we have all the art layer files and traits done for a project…and want to map this 100% trait-for-trait to an existing collection.

Is there a way to make the generative code copy the metadata from an existing collection so it creates this NFT collection to have identical traits – just using our art?

There has to be a way as many collections do it.

Would love any help if possible!

PS - for example, this collection (https://opensea.io/collection/rareapepeyachtclub) mirrors Bored Ape Yach Club in terms of traits, token for token.

You have to write some code to do that. It doesn’t work with only changing some parameters.

Complex code? Or pretty simple?

I don’t know exactly, it doesn’t seem too complex but it is not going to be super easy either. You may get into issues with the main script that generate the images too.

I should have probably also asked this: Where is a good resource to find a dev who could write this script? Just a freelance marketplace?
