So with this new Moralis update I will not be able to simply call Moralis.authenticate() to authenticate users ?
Is the v1.11.0 going to be deprecated at any point ? This v2 one is a lot more confusing/a hassle to set up

Yes you can still use moralis-v1 (where future versions after 1.11.0 will be), it will still be maintained/supported.
Next to v2 for the long term ? or will it eventually be deprecated ?
For now v1 will be maintained/supported.
If you only need to use the API in your project and you’re not using Moralis servers/database, then you can use Moralis 2.0.
