It is not requesting me to authenticate when I am using the metamask extension in browser on a desktop. However, it works when I am using the mobile metamask application browser.

I tried running the app and I get a User object logged in the console. This means that the authentication works. Is there something else that Iām missing besides this? Do let me know.
P.S. - I used the chrome browser metamask extension.

For me it does not authenticate as it did for you with my metamask extension on a browser.
I had another wallet provider active and it was blocking it. This is fixed, thank you. Seeing that it worked for you made me go through what could be wrong better.
