You got a wrong abi. It should be this

let ERC20_ABI = [
  {
    constant: true,
    inputs: [],
    name: "customTotalStaked",
    outputs: [{ internalType: "uint256", name: "", type: "uint256" }],
    payable: false,
    stateMutability: "view",
    type: "function",
  },
];
