I used the same code in rinbeby and it works fine, but not locally. i am using WSL linux teminal, and the linux version frpc,i use hardhat localhost node.
what is the server url?
the issues seems to be that too many blocks are synced, this can happen when it is forking a mainnet network with hardhat. you should check the configs in hardhat and remove any forking
